Hovenweep

While we were staying at Dolores, Co. We had time to drive over into Utah to see the Hovenweep National Monument by Montezuma Creek, Utah. We hiked about 1.3 miles looking at different ruins of the masonry homes built 1200-1300 AD. This is very interesting place. Don't know that it would be a destination place but if in the four corners area while worth a day to check it out. We also made a day trip to Mountain Village and took the Gondola down to Telluride and had lunch at Steamies Buger Bar. Also walked the streets and shopped like you're required to do in a tourist town.

Also while staying at The Views rv park by Dolores, some good friends also arrived. Mike and Sandy Mills. They are from our home park in Hondo Texas. Had a great time with them and meeting some friends of theirs Bubba and LouAnn. Here we are at Lindo Michoacan restaurantin Dolores,Co
